Berlin, June 27, 2026 – Business Network Albania (BNA) successfully held its latest conference at the Hotel Bristol Berlin, bringing together more than 162 participants from Albania, Kosovo, the Albanian-speaking regions, and the Albanian diaspora across Europe.
Entrepreneurs, professionals, investors, institutional representatives, and experts from countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, and others took part in a day dedicated to collaboration, networking, and creating new opportunities.
Although Berlin experienced one of the hottest days of the summer, the atmosphere inside the conference was every bit as warm and sunny as the weather outside. The energy of the participants, the open discussions, and the desire to forge new connections kept the hall full until the very last moments of the program, while the networking sessions continued even after the official close of the conference.
The conference was moderated by Klegia Troksi, who led the program throughout the day, creating a dynamic rhythm between presentations, panels, and discussions.
The event opened with a speech by Ruzvelt Shehu, CEO of Business Network Albania, who presented the organization's vision and mission, stressing that BNA is building an ecosystem that connects Albanians wherever they are through trust, collaboration, and technology.
In her official address, Olta Manjani, Deputy Minister of Economy, Innovation and Culture, highlighted the importance of the Albanian diaspora as a strategic partner for the country's economic development, presented the latest figures on businesses and investment in Albania, and underlined the need to build lasting bridges between institutions and Albanian professionals around the world.
A special moment of the conference was the participation of three Albanian ambassadors in Germany: Adia Sakiqi, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania, Faruk Ajeti, Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo, and Ylber Sela, Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia, also dubbed “The Three Musketeers,” who represent the Albanian-speaking regions at their best. In their remarks they stressed the importance of regional cooperation, the strength of the diaspora, and the role that Albanian communities currently play in promoting economic development and economic diplomacy.
The diaspora as an engine of development
The first panel, moderated by journalist Vjollca Hajdari, addressed the topic "The Role of the Albanian Diaspora in Europe." The discussion featured Florent Hasani, President of the Swiss Albanian Network, Lirim Krasniqi, Co-Executive Director of GERMIN, and Alba Mustafaj, who shared their perspectives on how the diaspora can contribute beyond remittances, bringing knowledge, investment, professional networks, and long-term collaboration.
The platform that connects Albanian businesses
One of the most important moments of the day was the demonstration of the Business Network Albania digital platform by Hudi Shehu, Chairman of the Board of BNA. The platform was presented as the core infrastructure that will make it possible to connect Albanian professionals, businesses, and investors globally through verified connections, structured networking, and the creation of new partnerships. The platform is functional, and the first successes have already been recorded through it.
Anyone who becomes a BNA member, as well as those who purchased a ticket to the event, has access to the platform and can start navigating it.
Dedicated sessions by industry
After a session by Julia Hoxha, who gave a presentation on the topic "Building Beyond Borders with Artificial Intelligence," offering concrete examples of how AI is transforming the way business is done, the conference continued with four parallel sessions focused on different sectors:
In the session "Albanians in the Technology Industry," Eva Gjoni and Aldor Nini discussed innovation, startups, and the opportunities that digital transformation offers Albanian professionals.
In the session "Construction, Real Estate and Hospitality," Rudina Murati and Sadri Zemaj shared their experiences of developments in the European investment market and the potential offered by Albanian lands.
In the other hall, Erina Barth and Jonida Bou Dib addressed the topic "Albanian Professionals in the Global Sector," discussing leadership development, organizational transformation, and the importance of human capital in the modern economy.
Meanwhile, Gent Shala and Genc Meraku led an inspiring and highly dynamic discussion on the topic "When the Albanian Brand Speaks to the World," sharing concrete experiences on building Albanian brands in international markets and the power of values in business.
Marketing and investment in focus
Another highly engaging presentation was given by Anaid Kalotit, who presented the latest trends in digital marketing and the strategies businesses should follow to build their social media presence in an increasingly competitive market.
The conference closed with the panel "Investing in Albanian Lands," moderated by Emir Allen, in which Ardian Hoxha, Florensa Haxhi and Kosove Arifaj discussed the investment potential in Albania, Kosovo, and the region, the current challenges, and the opportunities offered by cooperation with the diaspora.
A growing network, a community that is consolidating
In his closing remarks, Aurrel Kondi, member of the Board of Business Network Albania, thanked all the participants, partners, sponsors, and speakers for their contribution to the success of the conference. He stressed that every BNA event lays another stone in building the largest Albanian business network in the world and announced that the next Business Network Albania meeting will take place in Tirana, continuing the mission of connecting Albanian professionals and entrepreneurs without borders.
The Berlin conference confirmed once again that Business Network Albania is not simply a series of events, but an infrastructure under development that is creating new grounds for collaboration between the diaspora and the Albanian lands. Through a combination of technology, structured networking, and a growing community of professionals and entrepreneurs, BNA is building an ecosystem in which ideas, partnerships, and investments can be turned into real opportunities for economic development and long-term impact.
